A couple of hard working days have passed (careful observers might have noticed many version changes since 0.86 3 days ago). The network engine was partially rewriten, and so, more testing was possible. I’m very happy i must say. All the team members liked the game, including myself
. My biggest concern was that the new economical system will kill the game’s fun. But it didn’t. Sure, it requires a bit different approach than original game’s, but it is fun on its own. The list of bugs discovered is pretty long, but a lot of the real severe bugs were fixed. Today we’ve been playing the game in multiplayer since 12:00 in the morning, untill 20:00. Some crashes did occure, but we were able, through save and reload, to proceed quite far into the game, noting bugs that occured, as well as doing some balancing tweaks. Game will require quite some more work to really shine, but i believe it’s on a good way.

Glad to hear it! I look forward to my first 8 hour session.
Thx from the update
can’t wait for the release!
Beautiful work guys, i just checked out your message board posts and I can’t wait to be playing this with my Dad. I was born in 86, and this was the first game my Dad and I played together, a major bonding experience. I was looking also over posts about the blaster launcher, and how it is over powered. Which I hole heartedly agree with. However utilizing it as a breaching tool was how I liked it. Are you guys planning on putting any new maybe specialized explosives for breaching alien alloys?
